Infer is newer on our radar and we’re glad to see it. Their tool brings predictive analysis right into the CRM. With robust read and write integration to various data sources—including CRM platforms, ad platforms, email, and data warehouses—Infer enables users to extract insights and take action effectively. While Infer is primarily designed for Revenue Operations professionals, its capabilities also benefit data analytics teams through machine learning models that facilitate in-depth root cause analysis.

Customer.io is a fan favorite but users don’t put it into the “easy button” category. They can integrate with any data source out there, but you need some good technology chops. They go beyond email, supporting multiple communication channels such as SMS, push notifications, and webhooks. This multichannel approach enables seamless customer engagement across various touch points. Customer.io touts the value of first-party data and has created a platform designed to work with "any tech stack".
